Remove File Menu from Explorer (All Windows)

This setting is used to Remove the File option from the Explorers toolbar.

Open your registry and find the key below.

Create a new DWORD value, or modify the existing value called 'NoFileMenu' using the settings below.

Exit your registry, you may need to restart or log out of Windows for the change to take effect.

Note: This option was added in Windows NT Service Pack 2 and is standard in newer Windows versions.
